Mont Tremblant is an amazing place to visit during any time of the year. The list of outdoor adventures is endless, and the scenery is gorgeous. Mont-Tremblant is in the Laurentian Mountains, 80 miles northwest of Montreal. This colorful ski resort has a charming village with cute and quaint stores with unforgettable restaurants. Surrounded by Mont-Tremblant National Park and the shores of Lake Tremblant, it’s the best place to explore during any season. With an endless supply of outdoor activities, you will never run our of ways to escape the hubbub of home and enjoy some tranquil solitude

The summer months are filled with days on the lake, canoeing, swimming, and water sports. You can also hike at the Mont- Tremblant Ski Resort, golf at the Le Geat course, horseback ride up to the summit, and explore the National Park. During the winter months, you can spend your days on snow, the ski resort has levels of terrain that support beginners and experts, and is the perfect activity for anyone. You can also book ski lessons and with 102 trails, you will never run out of new places to ski and new terrain to try. It is truly a surreal and unforgettable  experience to be engulfed by the scenic landscape of Mount Tremblant!

The Mont Tremblant Cross Country Center is an experience you will not want to miss. Throughout these trails you will be surrounded by lakes, the Devil’s River, meadows, and mountains. It is a place to escape into a whole new peaceful world. With 75km of well maintained trails you will always have somewhere new to explore. The trails range from easy all the way to very difficult. Be adventurous, ski in quiet solitude on an easy trail or challenge yourself!  The center has a ski school and a rental shop. Their combo deal allows you to ski in the morning and snowshoe in the afternoon. The stunning views are sure to make the climb worth it. Take a break and warm up at their lodge which boasts three continuous wood-burning fireplaces.

When looking for a place to stay, right in the heart of Mont-Tremblant is the Grand Lodge. Close to the ski hills, golf courses, and open during all seasons, this 3-star all inclusive resort will make your vacation a dream come true. They have many activities and services right at your fingertips! You will be close to the resort, shopping, and hiking trails but they also have activities right on site. Take advantage of their spa and relax after a day of fun and extraneous activity. You can use the spa space or they will bring it right to your suite. Treat yourself to a well-earned facial or massage. 

Located on Lake Ouimet The Grand Lodge is the only hotel with a fine sand beach. When visiting in the summer you can enjoy their kayaks, canoes, and pedal boats free of charge. During the day there is always a lifeguard on duty and towels on hand. If you get hungry, don’t worry, there is a snack bar on the beach for you to grab something to eat or drink. Relax and unwind with a peaceful mind as you enjoy the warm summer days in a beautiful and tranquil location.

The list of activities is endless and if you need help finding which one to do, all you need to do is check out the Activity Center, and they will help you.  The restaurant, Chez Borivage is located in the resort and is well known and respected for its fine food, gorgeous presentation, and amazing taste. Spend a night in a relaxing ambience and enjoy exquisite food. You can finish your night with a drink at the cozy cabinlike whisky bar where you can enjoy a drink off their cocktail menu or bistro dining. 

The Grand Lodge is the place to make your vacation dreams come true. You don’t even have to worry about transportation because they offer free shuttles during all seasons. Centrally located you can easily get to the mountains or trails for your outdoor activities, but never run out of things to do at the Lodge as well.

 La Sandwicherie Café + Bistro is a staple in the village of Mont Tremblant. This is a must try and should not be missed! Known for their delicious sandwiches, soups, and salad this is the place you want to go for a flavorful and rewarding meal. The atmosphere is so warm and inviting you can’t help but feel  comfortable and welcome. In the summers you can eat on the terrace, enjoy a nice glass of wine with your meal, and soak in the grand and vintage look. You will not be disappointed.

While in a ski town you always have to keep your eye out for Apres!  Le P’tit Caribou is a must visit for nightlife. For ten years it has been named Best Apres-Ski Bar in Eastern North America by Ski Canada Magazine, and was ranked fourth top apres-ski bar in the world by Forbes Magazine. You can enjoy a relaxing drink on the terrace during the day or handpicked DJ’s and dancing at night. Le P’tit Caribou has 2-floors, 5 bar counters, and lounges for private events. They have a long and unique cocktail menu and a delicious food menu as well. If you are visiting in April you won’t want to miss the Caribou Cup where people wear their funniest costumes and try to make the trek over a 100+ft pool on their skis or snowboards. There is a live band and endless prizes.

If you are looking for a good cup of coffee during your day on the mountain Au Grain De Cafe is the cafe to try. In the heart of Tremblant village this small and cozy cafe will give you a great flavorful cup of coffee or warm alcoholic beverages. You can enjoy the fireplace and their outdoor terrace. If you are hungry they have breakfast or lunch and specialty pastries and desserts. They are the oldest coffee shop on the mountain. Au Grain De Cafe has been there since 1994 and their special blend of coffee is so delicious and smooth that you will love it so much you’ll want to take it home with you. There is an old world charm you can’t help but feel while visiting this tucked away must see cafe.
